manufacturing industry
Right from the beginning of the previous decade to the around the end of it (2001-2008) a sharp growth was seen sin the manufacturing industry. The global economic expansion of that time enticed the manufacturing industry to invest for greater infrastructure. We all evidenced huge investments by this industry for the latest equipments and modern technology but the sudden crash in the global economy allowed them to come across tough challenges and the industry had to pay the penalties for that. However, this had slowed down the growth of the global manufacturing industry but couldn’t drag an end for it. This was a good sign!
Embracing the modern technology, the industry of manufacturing is paving the way for success and no room for denying the fact that this indeed is welcoming the economic growth. The critics are still not seeing any robust growth for the industry but the truth is that countries like – China, Russia, India, Brazil etc. are considering this industry as the prospect of the economic growth in the recent future.

The Technological Advancement

In order to put the best step forward on the global platform, embracing the advancement of the technology is very important. This will help the internal connectivity to an extended level and sharing the same information with contribute to growth of the manufacturing industry. Furthermore, there are lots of scopes to integrate the technological improvement for the further expansion of this industry. Let’s have a brief look at some of the breakthrough ideas that will drive this industry on the verge of success. Those are as follows:
Internet of Things; Along with the growth of the connectivity amongst factories, the industry will start evolving and realizing this fact the introduction of the Internet technology is really pushing it to the progress. The courageous fact about this technology is the real-time monitoring more so, the translation of the collected data such as; temperature, pressure, humidity impact are all helpful for safe and effective manufacturing and packaging.
Robotics: Throughout the previous decade the world has recognized the emergence of China as the automated manufacturing powerhouse and all thanks go to the tremendous growth of the industrial robotics. This growth has been led by the increased labor costs and booming in the industrial sector. More so, the exportation of such industrial robots from China in 2015 has been doubled since 2013. And according to the International Federation of Robotics, this figure of 75,000 will reach 150,000 by the end of 2018. While questioned on the job reduction because of the robotics the experts have made it clear that this will have comparatively smaller role on the human employment but the growth of the faster, easier and safer manufacturing industry will be accelerated.

3D Printing: This has a crucial role to play for the upcoming success of the manufacturing and packaging industry. This technology can produce robust objects from digital design by building up multiple layers of plastics, resin or other materials. There are companies that utilize 3D printing technology to produce parts in small lots in order to reduce the design-to-manufacture time. However the technology is still in its infant level and its performance specification is limited but apt planning for the incorporation of this technology will certainly lead to success.
According to the experts, if the manufacturing industry executives pay more concentration on the investment for new and prospective technologies after making through analysis then manufacturing and packaging is going to be one of the leading industries in the near future.
